Research Use Policy

All products sold by Alchemist Supply Company LLC, doing business as “Alchemist Supply Co.” (“ASC”), are for laboratory research use only. They are not drugs, food, cosmetics, or dietary supplements, are not approved by the FDA or any other regulator, and are not for human or animal consumption or administration under any circumstance, in any amount, or in any manner.

What we sell

High-purity chemical reference materials, typically peptides, sold exclusively to qualified researchers and licensed research institutions for in-vitro study, analytical testing, and reference purposes. No product sold by ASC is manufactured, tested, or labeled to any pharmaceutical, medical device, or dietary supplement standard.

What we do not do

  • We do not provide human or animal dosing information, and any strength/concentration listed describes the reference material in the vial only — it is not a recommended, safe, or approved dose for any living organism.
  • We do not provide reconstitution, injection, or any other administration instructions.
  • We do not provide medical, clinical, veterinary, or health advice of any kind, and nothing on this site should be read as such, regardless of how it is phrased.
  • We do not represent, and no statement by ASC should be interpreted to mean, that any product treats, cures, prevents, diagnoses, or mitigates any disease or condition in any organism.
  • We do not evaluate, endorse, or take responsibility for any protocol, dose, or use a customer or any third party independently devises, whether informed by outside sources, prior experience, or anything else.

Your obligations

  • You will not administer, inject, ingest, apply, or otherwise introduce any product into or onto any human or animal, under any circumstance — including any use you or a third party believes to be a proper, safe, minimal, or medically supervised dose. There is no dose, frequency, or method of administration that ASC authorizes or endorses.
  • You will not resell, gift, or otherwise provide any product to a third party for such administration, and you will not represent any product as safe or appropriate for such use.
  • You will handle, store, and dispose of products safely and in full compliance with all applicable laws and your institution’s biosafety and chemical-handling policies.
  • You will represent products accurately, including their research-only status and lack of regulatory approval, in any onward communication, publication, or transfer.
  • If you become aware that a product has been, or may be, administered to a human or animal by you or any third party, you will immediately stop use, and understand that ASC bears no responsibility for the outcome and that you remain solely responsible, including under the indemnification obligations in our Terms of Service.

Assumption of risk

Any use of a product other than sealed, in-vitro laboratory reference use — including self-administration, administration to another person or animal, or use at any dose or by any method, whether or not it deviates from what you or a third party believed to be customary or recommended — is entirely at your own risk. ASC has not evaluated, and expressly disclaims responsibility for, the safety, purity for biological use, or effect of any product used in that manner. Enforcement

Violation of this policy is a material breach of our Terms of Service and independently triggers the assumption-of-risk, release, and indemnification obligations described there, regardless of whether ASC becomes aware of the violation before or after a product ships. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, close any account, and cooperate with regulators or law enforcement where required or appropriate.
